Its the way we take it

Life is full of changes and experiences. Each individual has his own experiences and these experiences has its own impact on his thinking and mindset. This forms a base for his attitude towards the way he takes his life and situations.

Very often most of us come across situations and scenarios which are very similar, but the way each individual analysis and tackles them depends purely on his mindset and thinking. One may endup happy and victorious whereas another in the same situation and scenario may be totally lost or disheartened.

To elaborate I would take into consideration the above image. To look in a common manner it is a picture of a road through a valley which a quite common scenario for most of us. Now to put forth my ideas Ill elaborate the thoughts of individuals of different mindsets in observing this view.

A Cool and Happy person:
-----------------------
A person of this mindset will love to travel in such a scenario. He observes the natural beauty and compares the high and lows of the passage and valley as his ups and downs in life. He sees himself on the top of the hill when he is successful and the serenity of surroundings makes him feel happy and boosts his confidence. He sees the different colors of fading leaves and praises nature for its beauty. He compares the fading of leaves as those moments which paved way for his fruitful life. Though he passes this route once but his mindset towards the surroundings makes an indelible impression on his nature and thoughts which will give rise to new hopes and imaginations for better future.

A Frustrated and Sad person:
----------------------------
A person of this mindset will find this passage as a long and empty way as compared to his current state of mind. He will find no pleasure in the surroundings as they looks pale and faded. He finds the hill ahead as another big stone of hindrance in his life which he has to face so as to survive. He finds the lows of passage as his failures which becomes more and more high like the ups of passage. The winds looks dusty and the surroundings rusty and he compares the fading of trees to his fading desires of success. Though he passes this passage once, his mindset towards the surroundings will become a part and parcel of his sad and disillusioned life.

Both these individuals can be the same person at different times with different mindsets. But what matters most is the way he takes his current state of mind and his attitude towards life. A person cannot be happy if he keeps on lamenting on his failures but instead one should take the failures as an experience to succeed in future endeavours.

Above all Nature and Life has its own way of encouraging and boosting morale in us. What matters is THE WAY WE TAKE IT.

Well said. I agree. Each person perceives things differently. Then based on that perception chooses to react to it accordingly. Well, we all know how many ways that can go. Long story short, I try to be as optimistic as possible, as to encourage more positive. Anything you give attention to, you give power to, including negetivity.
